During this time, Adam was tempted by Naamah and Lillith, two demons of prostitution. Asmodeus is the offspring of the relationship between Naamah and Adam. In Jewish texts, Samael is better known as the 'Angel of Death.' It is believed that Samael is both good and evil in that he does the work of God but desires man to do evil. Samael is viewed as a seducer as was first spoken of in the Talmud as assuming the role of the serpent and tempting Eve in the Garden of Eden. The correlation here is that Montepulciano can be a very alluring and seductive grape that lends itself to pleasurable drinking. That said, often time Montepulciano is simple, thin and insipid. In many ways it offers both the good and bad of wine.

Intense red with purple hues. Intense youthful fresh ripe berry fruit flavours with some well integrated vanillin oak. Full bodied dense ripe berry fruit flavours balanced with vanillin oak but yet long and smooth. Serve with a red wine casserole or a juicy steak with red onion jam. This wine has the flavour, structure and balance to be enjoyed now or offers added satisfaction from further cellaring.

A big, in-your-face wine that proves, once again, how sinfully good Zin can be. Setting the stage with tantalizing aromas of black cherry, raspberries, and blueberries along with hints of oak. It then stops the show with a cascade of fruit flavours, flexible tannins, and a long, fruit-forward finish.

On the palate, there fruity sensations of red fruits, plums and peaches, coupled with a characteristic acidity.

A blend of 50% Tempranillo - Spain's most famous grape variety, 43% Shiraz - the workhorse of Australian reds, a dab of Grenache in the mix. Full bodied and supple with cherry and chocolate flavours at the fore, underpinned by notes of liquorice and savoury spice, held together with silky Tempranillo tannins.

This Malbec is full of intense dark fruit characters, a hint of plum stone and spicy notes of black pepper create a wine that is full to medium-bodied with a smooth finish.

A variety made famous in Spain, this is a medium-bodied wine with seductive flavours of maraschino cherry, plums and subtle spice along with well integrated savoury oak. There is a pleasing soft and silky texture to the mid palate and the wine has a long, persistent finish.
