The 2022 Eleven Barrels Parkburn Vineyard Pinot Noir is a single vineyard wine displaying the power, generosity and intensity generated by their Parkburn Vineyard site. Dark and moody, the Eleven Barrels displays notes of black cherry, thyme and ripe plum, with an expressive nose and plush tannins on the palate. With the fine balance of ripe fruit, natural acidity and mineral tension this wine truly represents the Pisa sub-region and its complex nature. Expect to see this youthful wine transform and evolve over a decade or more; please be aware a fine deposit may occur as a result of our minimal handling philosophy.

Rockburn Seven Barrels Dick Bunton Vineyard Gibbston Pinot Noir. Every year Rockburn fill hundreds of French Oak barrels with Pinot Noir, and every year they search for those individual barrels that most eloquently speak of site and season. This wine exemplifies the sophistication of Gibbston Valley Pinot Noir. In the glass the colour is an opalescent light garnet and when taken to the nose you are rewarded with a wonderful aroma of spice and florals with a lovely nuance of oak. Restrained strawberry and raspberry flavours are suspended on a fabulous acid structure and very fine tannins complement the taste experience. This a beautifully structured, balanced wine. The finish is long and lingering. Overall, the wine is delicate but yet powerful, somewhat reminiscent of wines from the spiritual home of Pinot Noir.

RUA Pinot Noir has a rich and generous palate, with black cherry, raspberry and plum notes supported by vanilla and classic Central Otago dried herbs. A subtle spiciness adds to the complexity. The silky tannins are well integrated in this fresh and vibrant Central Otago Pinot Noir.

The nose exhibits perfumed violets and dark red fruit of plum and cherry. The palate is soft, with rich ripe fruit and fine tannin structure balanced nicely with integrated lingering oak, resulting in a palate of length and complexity.

Standing tall, oozing dark cherry and plum indulgence with truffle, spice and toasty oak with subtle dried herb complexity. Matured in French oak Barriques with 25% new oak, only the best for their handsome Bobby. A muscular stance in a velvet coat, and so deliciously moreish.

Morello cherries, earth and spice fill the mouth. The wine is bold and generous, without being heavy. Velvety tannins with a light cherry-chocolate finish.
