This is a smooth and fruit orientated Gimblett Gravels blend. Deep purple in colour, it has a bouquet of dried herbs, red berries and subtle hints of cedar from a period of barrel maturation.

Red cherry, plum and spice, fruity and smooth. Perfect match with red meat dishes.

This wine is layered with black and red berry fruits, complemented by blossoming aromas of dark plum.

A dark, vibrant red, Five Flax Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon has a medley of dark-fruit aromas from blackcurrant to black plum. A very approachable mid-weight palate with flavours which reinforce the berry fruit aromas on the nose. Balanced acidity and well integrated tannins give the wine softness for early drinking.
