Teeling Small Batch Irish Whiskey is a distinctive blend of hand-selected grain and malt whiskeys, initially matured in ex-bourbon barrels before spending up to 12 months in Central American rum casks. This unique finishing process brings layers of dried fruit, rum raisin, vanilla, and warm allspice to its naturally rich character. To create The Balvenie PortWood 21 year old single malt whisky, a marriage of rare Balvenie is transferred to port casks, or pipes, which have held fine port wines. Here it is sampled regularly by The Balvenie Malt Master David C.
