Classic Pickle Margarita Recipe
- 50ml Blanco Tequila
- 20ml-30ml Dill Pickle Juice (brine from a jar)
- 20ml-30ml Fresh Lime Juice
- 10ml-15ml Triple Sec or Cointreau
- 10ml (optional) Agave Syrup or Simple Syrup (to balance acidity)
- Ice
- Garnish: Chili salt or salt/Tajín for the rim, and a pickle spear or slice
Instructions:
- Prepare the Rim: Rub a lime wedge around the edge of a glass and dip it into a mixture of salt and Tajín (chili-lime seasoning).
- Combine Ingredients: Add the tequila, pickle juice, lime juice, triple sec, and agave/syrup (if using) into a shaker.
- Shake: Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds until well-chilled.
- Serve: Strain the mixture into the prepared glass over fresh ice.
- Garnish: Top with a dill pickle slice or spear.
Variations & Tips
- Spicy Pickle Margarita: Add 2-3 slices of fresh jalapeño to the shaker or use hot pickle juice.
